Queen Bee Honeylicious Lip Therapy | Vaseline |

A few months ago, Vaseline launched a new limited edition lip therapy product; Queen Bee. I originally purchased it as soon as it was launched and have been using it for a few months now. I have used the majority of Vaseline's Lip Therapy products, so I naturally had high hopes, so here is my review!
Vaseline Lip Therapy Queen Bee - 20g - RRP: £3.99

Vaseline have kept to their trademark round tins - and so they should - it's pretty much what we all recognise about the brand! What has been changed to obviously make it stand out due to it's limited edition and type, is the colour. As it's honey scented, the tin resembles the markings of a bee, which is cute - even if you don't like bees! I really like it - the colours are slightly metallic which makes it look quite high end.

I love the cute bee print on the tin. It's the little things like that, that make this new lip therapy product appealing to me. What also makes a little difference is the slogans around the tin; "Bee Beautiful" and"For Smooth Lips They'll Buzz About". Both are a play on words and it adds to the aesthetics and appeal of the product itself.

It's still primarily petroleum jelly scented with honey, so nothing has dramatically changed. When using it, it smells really nice - just like honey. It's not greasy like some lip products and the packaging is really attractive too! Definitely something I am glad I bought! It is limited edition and I have seen it in various high street drug stores.
Have you tried it? What are your thoughts on it?

RATING
Price: £3.99 is pretty reasonable for a lip product. It's inline with similar Vaseline products on the high street so it fits in well on the shelf and I didn't think twice when paying for it.

Promises: 5 STARS My lips felt soft and smooth - just like other Vaseline products.

Ease of Application: 5 STARS It went on very well and wasn't greasy - something that crosses my mind with new lip products. It also smelt really nice when applying it.

Would I Recommend to a Friend?: YES Vaseline have not disappointed with this, it does everything it says and it's really quirky and different, especially as it's limited edition.

Barbie Paddle Brush | Forever 21 |

How cute is this Barbie paddle brush?! I bought this in mid 2014; I know it's late - sorry! but I just had to share how cool it was!

I purchased it in Forever 21 and although I've been before, I had never really taken the chance to have a proper look. I came across Forever 21's Barbie Collection and the Barbie Paddle Brush caught my eye. The Barbie Paddle Brush is an official licenced product and not only is it nostalgic from my childhood, but it's ultra cute and totally usable. Unfortunately, I've left this post soo long that it's no longer available in store, BUT you can find similar ones online!
The Barbie paddle brush is embossed with a Barbie hashtag print which features fun text and song lyrics related to beauty and mean girls and underneath, the brush features thin pink bristles that tie in with the girly theme. It's approximately just under 3 inches wide and 8.5 inches long making it a functional and satisfying hair accessory to use.

The brush is priced at £3 - an absolute bargain and is available in 2 colours; like mine - black with white and pink text and white with black and pink text. I chose the black because I can guarantee it'll get filthy from my makeup on my hands!
I love my Barbie paddle brush. It's definitely one of my best buys for a while! Do you like it? Have you seen anything that reminds you of your childhood? Or have you got anything else 'Barbie'?
...
RATING
Price: 5 STARS £3 is an absolute steal. For £3 you're getting a paddle brush that has BARBIE on it and it's an official licensed product - well worth £3 in my opinion.

Ease of Use: 5 STARS Even though it's decorated and looks more like an aesthetic product, the brush is very durable. I use it everyday and haven't had any issues.

Would I Recommend to a Friend?: YES I know it's just a brush but it's so cute! Who wouldn't love a Barbie Hair Brush?!

2015 - The Big 4: Grab Your Diaries!

New Year usually calls for the making of New Year resolutions. I must admit, I used to be like that - but now I've gotten a bit older, I look towards goals and milestones rather than resolutions and also wait to settle into the New Year before making any of them! So here's my top 4 plans and milestones for 2015!

1. Walt Disney World Florida
Firstly, lets get the most exciting bit out of the way, I am going to Walt Disney World Florida in May! A trip of a lifetime! I have always dreamed of going there and finally, at 22, my dream is going to come true! I thought, it's better to do it now than wait later on in life when I have too many commitments, and who can say no to Disney?!
In the next few weeks, I plan on making a checklist of everything I want to see and do in the two weeks whilst I'm there - as long as they all get checked off, I'll be happy :) My worst fear is flying back home and realising I hadn't done something that I had always wanted to see or do.
So, if you have any tips, please let me know! :)

2. Back to Basics; Plan and Organize
I am a great one for planning and organizing things down to the finest detail, but since starting a full time job; juggling work, life and a blog is hard! I take my hate off to those of you that do them and more! My goal and plan for this year is to stay on top of my blog and post regularly. All I need is an organizer/planner, a pen and an hour or two a week and it'll be plain sailing. I love my hobby and I hope it will carry on throughout the year.
3. Blog Posts
So, this leads me onto a goal of mine - to post at least once every two weeks. I know that it's not much BUT considering my hectic schedule, as long as I post at least once, I'll be happy (but of course I'll try to do more) :)

4. Looking towards the future...
Last year, I wrote that I planned on saving. Well I did! It's satisfying and rewarding to know that it's all down to me and that it's going towards something for myself and my future, so I am determined to carry on. I'm hoping this year is the start of my independent adult life - a huge milestone that I'm anxious but also excited about. I know it might not happen instantly, growing up and grabbing hold of the big wide world, but I am ready, ready to make a start none the less.
Have you made resolutions or goals? Do you find them easy to stick to?

Hello, 2015

Happy New Year!
Hello my beautiful readers and followers! You may have noticed that I have been absent from the blogging community for the last few months. To tell you the truth, I have been soo busy juggling work, life and my blog that I haven't been able to keep a healthy balance - naughty me! I take my hat off to those of you that do keep a balance between the three, and even more! You deserve a medal.
Well I'm back to blogging. This is a hobby and I love it as it gives me a break from stresses and strains of everyday. I am determined to carry it on without any pressure to blog a specific amount of times a week etc. - just enough to keep me satisfied, and hopefully my readers too!
So, what's to come from my blog? Well, a lot I hope! It is a hobby to me so I'm not going to be posting 24/7 about everything and anything but I hope to be doing a lot more diverse posts about lifestyle and fashion! Coming up, I have a new Years Resolution post- pretty self explanatory but it'll tell you all about what I have planned for 2015 including some New Year goals as well.
I also have a series of posts broken down into 3 parts coming your way too - exciting stuff when you hear what it's about! I'll also be posting more wishlist posts too. I hope this will inspire my readers as well as others as they give ideas and HINTS to what we all want for those special occasions, no matter how commercialised they are.
So here it is, welcome to 2015 you beautiful lot.
